Inside OutCounselling

Trauma Therapy · TRTP

The way through — without reliving it.

A structured, body-based process that resolves trauma at the level it was stored. Typically six sessions. Profoundly life-changing.

What is trauma?

Trauma is not what happened. It's what became trapped inside.

Trauma is any experience that overwhelmed your capacity to cope in the moment — leaving the nervous system stuck in a survival response that never fully switches off. It can be a single event, or the quiet accumulation of years.

The symptoms — anxiety, hyper-vigilance, numbness, exhaustion, reactivity, disconnection — aren't personality flaws. They're the body's ongoing attempt to protect you from something it still believes is happening now.
